โ€œThat may be so, but I donโ€™t want to fall asleep and wake up to your brother staring at my cock and your naked backside. Heโ€™d definitely never want me to come around again if that happened.โ€

Outside spring is starting, flowers are blooming birds are singing. Go sit on your porch and look at the beautiful garden with a warm cup of tea. This book is perfect for such moments.

In this book, we are following the fate of Daisy and Kai. Daisy is half nymph that is basically hiding from anyone in her greenhouse because of hatred she encountered as a child (this was hitting a little too close to home for me ๐Ÿ˜€ ) And Kai is considered playboy who doesn’t care for anything and anyone. When their paths crossed, things starts to change.

I loved this cute little romance. Flower theme is just close to my heart and soul warming story about Daisy was just amazing. I loved how the author intervened trauma from being different from other with a lovely story about discovering that lots of our insecurities about the world around us can be in our head.

Kai’s journey is also pretty nicely wrapped up in this love story. He is such a softie for her that it made me weep.

What made this book special for me was Daisies flowers in hair. I think it is such a creative idea, I am just sad it wasn’t explored more ๐Ÿ˜Š

Spice in the book is not overwhelming story and I must say some scenarios made me mourn that humans doesn’t have tails ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿฅต

My only issue with the book was the last 10% of it. Daisies decision to not trust Kai because something that Kai’s ex said and not let him explain it felt unnatural and made just to have some twist in the story. It did not harm the story much, but I felt that Daisy acted really logical about Kai’s history through the whole book, and at the end she just threw logic out of the window. If this was approach differently, it would be my next 5-star read.

Pocket full of posies by Rebecca Rennerick is a cute, feel-good cozy romance with monster elements and healing from childhood trauma. I would recommend anyone who loves their flowers, garden, and a bit of taming tigers.๐Ÿ˜…
